Jeffrey T. Osborn, Esq.Mr. Osborn was raised in a rural community and managed his family’s farm until he left for college in 1975. While attending college, he worked at a growing local retail facility rising to corporate level management in the organization for Los Angeles district stores as well as the several western regional outlets. While working in corporate management, Mr. Osborn graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a degree in business administration, financial investments, with a minor in economics. Following the closure of the retail store operations, Mr. Osborn attended Western State College of Law, graduating in 1989. Thereafter, He practiced with the Law Firm of Gyler, Gilligan and Famularo in Long Beach, California, with an individual emphasis in corporate litigation including complex Civil RICO matters and business disputes. In 1995, Mr. Osborn began his own firm in Huntington Beach, California where he has been practicing law ever since. He has built his practice emphasizing the transactional and litigation needs of small and mid-sized businesses and their owners. Through the years, however, one truth became self evident when applied to small and mid-sized business—they are owned and operated by people. Owners, Employees and their families have special needs which vary from business to business. To this end, Mr. Osborn has acquainted himself with several legal disciplines including of Family Law, Administrative Law, Bankruptcy and Estate Planning and probate litigation. To best serve the complexities of each discipline, he has put together a firm of qualified attorneys to handle those needs. As with all business related matters, creation and preservation is the focus and attention of Mr. Osborn’s clients, this has resulted in hundreds of successfully settled and mediated cases whose conclusions were in the best interest of the business client whose usual concern is the ongoing profitability of their business venture. Naturally, there is a time and a place for everything under the sun, and, there is a time to be aggressive and demand a just result in the face of an unreasonable adversary, however, in most cases, such hostile situations are expensive and often fail to create a result where the injured party is adequately compensated. As senior attorney in the firm, Mr. Osborn is concerned with meeting the needs of his clients, both business and personal; therefore, he has endeavored to build a team of professionals and staff which are also men and women of faith. Personally, Mr. Osborn, assists several area churches with their legal needs, attends a local Calvary Chapel and, has acted as Children’s Minister for a program of over 500 children with oversight of paid and volunteer staff. He freely shares his experience when appropriate and encourages his clients to do likewise. Mr. Osborn has been married for 27 years and has two children at home ages 14 and 11. He enjoys a variety of activities including golf, hunting, and family “getaways” in his RV. |
